July 11, 2020 | by bolu | 0 Comments

Attending conferences and fashion weeks, such as the Lagos fashion week, is great for brand awareness of a fashion brand, but trade shows or fairs also increase brand awareness, knowledge of the industry, and more. During fashion trade fairs which usually feature a whole range of fashion brands, entrepreneurs can forge business relationships as well as increase their target market reach.

Fashion Souk Nigeria is one of the widely recognized trade fairs in the country. Not only does the fashion fair showcase the value chain of the fashion business, but it is also a platform for emerging entrepreneurs and fashion experts to connect and network. The Fashion Souk 2020 was recently announced to be going virtual, and applications for vendor spaces are now open!

About The Fashion Souk

Eventful Limited, owned by Yewande Zaccheaus, is an event planning company that strives to provide meaningful and memorable events that meet and exceed the event objectives. With the Fashion Souk, Beauty Souk, and Street Souk, which are held annually for fashion, beauty, and urban streetwear enthusiasts, Eventful Limited has provided an important platform for entrepreneurs in different industries to showcase their products to a large audience.

The Fashion Souk since 2017, has engaged many fashion business owners that showcased their products ranging from shoes, bags, belts, clothes, jewellery, and many more. Through the platform, the entrepreneurs were able to connect with their target customers, as well as tap into various opportunities to grow their businesses.

Fashion Souk 2020

The Fashion Souk 2020 is slated to hold virtually for 3 days from August 28 to August 30. Due to the pandemic, many events have had to be cancelled or organised virtually, and Eventful Limited is leveraging the digital space to deliver a virtual event as well.

The event, which is sponsored by First Bank, and the Bank Of Industry, will feature exhibitions from creatives and fashion business owners based in Africa. Since the event is going to be done virtually, all interested vendors, as well as their staff, are meant to be computer and technology-savvy, and all the products should have high-quality photos and proper description.

Being the first-ever virtual edition, the Fashion Souk 2020 promises to be a new and exciting fashion experience in Nigeria, as it will cater to the fashion needs of local and international fashion enthusiasts and business owners from the safety and comfort of their personal spaces.

However, note that the applications for vendors close on the 14th of July, 2020. To apply, click here.
